HAPPY DONALDS EVE EVERYBODY!!!

It's Donald's Birthday tomorrow, Feb 28! And I want to tell everybody just how much I love this Birthday Boy. Donald and I started hanging-out/dating on this very day last year. I told him I would come over to the downing's and give him 25 spankins on his birthday and I almost didn't keep my word. I made it to him with just 3 minutes till midnight. But I did give him those spankins... and he's gonna get em again this year :) I'm sure I had him at first spank. Donald means the world to me. He always makes me laugh even when I'm in a sad mood. He is so smart and level headed, he helps me make wise choices when I'm not sure about stuff. He's so handsome and strong and athletic, he's like Superman! OK maybe I'm embellishing but he's MY super hero. One of our favorite things to talk about is how things will go down when the outbreak happens. (And yes, outbreak refers to Zombies.) We've got a plan. And I know he would stop at nothing to protect me and his family. And if he gets zombified I think I will let him bite me. THATS love.

So Happy Birthday Donald! I love you. And if yours and my family loves you they'll all tell you happy birthday tomorrow. OOOOOH yeah. I went there

The Weir "Noonan" of the Week

Ryan was born on March 22 in San Diego California. He served a mission in Las Vegas. He is the second oldest of three brothers and two sisters. His favorite color is brown (because it is the color of Amanda's eyes) blue and orange are his second favorites or his favorites before he met Amanda. His favorite animal is the airedale terrier. His favorite food is pizza and chicken broccoli casserole and he loves to try new foods from different countries. Favorite restaurant is Macaroni Grill. His favorite place is Virginia. The places he would most like to visit are Ireland or Dubai. His favorite ice cream is chocolate. Favorite bands are Keane, nickel back, Snow Patrol, Jack Johnson, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir or anything Amanda sings (everything). He drives a Suzuki Alto which boasts 70 miles per gallon and reaches speeds up to 85 miles an hour if only it didn't fall apart before it got there. Favorite TV show is Backyardigans. Favorite movie Star Wars, but has seen Heffalump more than any other movie. Favorite season is Fall. Lately his hobbies are playing warcraft with his friends and sometimes Amanda, studying, hiking, running, going for long walks with Deya and snorkeling. Deya recently decided to call him Honey because she hears Amanda say it all day. We are so grateful to have Ryan as a part of our family.

Save The Date!

The official date is 8/8/8! If that changes it will be only by one day. We don't have very many more details but we will try to keep everyone posted about anything important. I still live in Boston and I'm really trying to get the heck out of here! But we've decided I need to be home in April no matter if I have a job or not. So.... Everyone, please pray for me that I will get a transfer.

MELINDA TERE WEIR is our Weir of the Week. I drew your name just after I read your post. Melinda was born on March 19!! She is number 9 in our family. She is going to be the star in her upcoming play. Her favorite color is blue. Favorite animal is an elephant. Favorite Place: Turkey Favorite food: enchaladas and strawberry Twizzlers Favorite song: Jesus Wants me for a Sunbeam Favorite ice cream :mint chocolate chip Favorite Resturant: Olive Garden Favorite Season :Fall Favorite car: BMW Favorite movie star: Morgan Freeman and Natalie Portman, Favorite Movie: Newsies, Favorite weather: rain, Favorite month: March, Favorite cereal : Captain Crunch, Hobbies: Sing, play soccer, AP history, Future Major in college, History and Humanities. She wants to live in Germany again someday. She is a dog person. Favorite soda is root beer. If she had a day to do whatever she wanted she would go to the zoo with her family. Her favorite flower is a tulip. She's been accepted to BYU Idaho, U of U and Utah State. Melinda has always been a hard worker and a great friend. It is fun to know some of her recent favorites. I love her very much. She is a good example to us all.

Senior Year

Senior year has been crazy so far and its going super fast! For the past two weekends I have been doing activities non stop..last week was Senior Fine Arts and I got to sing in an amazing choir with kids from schools around the region and John got to be in the band it was really exciting to be on the new stage because at the end of march guess where I'm going to be standing, CENTER stage...I'm excited by scared.

This weekend was youth conference in Bahrain and it was sooo much fun I've gone to youth conference for the past three years in Bahrain and its been worth it...we get the stake center(villa) packed with kids from all over and we just sleep in the classrooms and then always go ice skating or bowling after a day filled with activities and then a dance at night its alot of fun...its going to be so weird away from home...oh I've been accepted to three colleges out of the four I applied to...Utah State, UofU, and BYU-I. I'm still waiting on an official answer from BYU, I suppose to get an answer in March on Johns Birthday and its been really hard waiting for an answer but I try not to think about it...mom says that every time i think of Bee whY yoU that I must say "get they away satan!" and well when she told me that the first think i see is the Bee whY yoU symbol on her sweat pants i LOVE mom!

Weir "Blodgett" of the Week

The Weir of the Week is actually a Blodgett: Dan. I called Sarah to ask for some of his favorite things. Here are a few things I've learned about Dan. His favorite thing is Golf. He also likes basketball and all other sports. He also likes to play X-box. His favorite foods are Tacos and spaghetti. Sarah says he likes anything that is easy to make. His favorite color is red but he is a BYU fan. He always has to clarify that. He is sad that it happens to be the color of the Utes. He was born in Provo, Utah. He is the oldest of seven children. He has three brothers and three sisters. He served his mission in Sao Paulo, Brazil. His favorite flavor is peanut butter. His favorite place to be is wherever Sarah and the kids are. His family calls him "Danny" and one of his neices calls him"Uncle Dugway" because he lived there for 8 years. His birthday is on April 21, a great day for a birthday. We are thrilled that he has finally joined the family. He has always been an honorary member even before he married Sarah but now we are happy to call him brother.

WEIR OF THE WEEK

I have everyones name in a bag (all 40 of us) and every week I think we should spotlight someone in our family. We can find out fun things about everyone. This week I drew Sheilah Weir. Let's all learn about Sheilah. We would like to hear about your favorite things. Not just the normal favorites but unusual favorites as well. I would then ask if everyone would post a favorite memory or just a uplifting comment about the person of the week. It will be fun if everyone will participate. One of my favorite recent memories of mom is when she ran around Chicago with me and we bought Garrett's Popcorn. It was so fun to have a day just the two of us, eventhough we were freezing our booties off. She is one of the most loving and giving people I know. I just like to be near her and listen to whatever she has to say. She is a wize woman. I love my mom.

Hockey
