Me, my best friend, and my new hair cut

I know its not the most flattering face I'm making but here is my new hair cut...and my double chin. Its the first time in about 20 years since I've had bangs. I feel younger somehow...like I did when I was 9.

Weir "Snow" of the Week

The many names and faces of Eleanor Snow...

The Weir of the Week is Eleanor Snow. She will be three tomorrow. Her favorite color is pink. Ella's favorite animal is a kitty. She also likes giraffes. Chicken and Cheese are her favorite things to eat. She likes to watch any movie with princesses. Elle's favorite PBS kids show is Word Girl. Her favorite treat is cookies. When asked her favorite sport, she replied, "I don't like sports." When asked her favorite baseball team, she replied, "Gallagher and Atticus!" Her favorite Cubs player is Garth. Nora's favorite friend in nursery is Eleanor Cruiz. Bella's favorite fruit is chocolate fruit. Whatever that means. Tina's favorite thing to do for family home evening is make cookies and eat them. Her favorite song is Somebody by Depeche Mode. Bell's favorite thing to do is play PBS kids on the computer. When asked what she wants to be when she grows up, she simply stated, "Happy." She is a beautiful little woman and we love her very much. She has a light in her eyes that makes us all happy.

Weir "Gough" of the Week

Melanie's favorite color is pink, she loves her dog Lucy. She mostly likes to play on the swing outside, she loves painting, coloring, drawing, and is constantly working on art projects. She loves to work on her ABC's and Numbers and loves to go to school, her teacher says he has never seen her upset she is always smiling and happy. She likes to take Lucy for walks, if her lazy mother would ever let her, she likes to take naps as well ( I have never seen her take one though). Her favorite foods are strawberries, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and ice cream sandwiches. She likes to eat crackers and keep her blanket on at bedtime and smell flowers. She likes to ride bikes, and hug her mom good bye. Alright that is enough from her, Melanie is a lot of fun to have around, she always has something she wants to talk about, her mind is always curious like George her favorite monkey, Joshua and her are always discussing the latest episode. We love her and our glad she is part of are family!!!

Melanie is one of the cutest little girls I know. She has such a brilliant light in her eyes. We love you so much Melanie. We are excited for your sister to come and join you and your family. She has a great big sister to look up to.

Camping with Honey

I have been patiently waiting for new posts from the Weir family but I guess everyone is busy having babies and going to India and Africa and all of this nonsense.

But we have the biggest news of ALL! We took Honey on her very first camping trip! We went to Roosevelt Lake to camp but the lake was all messed up because the water is so high, and there are no beaches. So we spent the night at a campground there and packed up in the morning and headed a couple miles down the road to Apache Lake. It was so much fun. We had our own beach area to pull the boat up to. And Honey had 2 other dogs to play with and she even got in the water all by her self. (She is terrified of water) She was being such a good girl that she even got to be off her leash a lot of the time. She didn't want to come on the boat with us though... that might take some time :) Ha Ha. Donald and I Wake Boarded and Tubed, we had so much fun but got SO sunburned! Honey had TOO much fun, she didn't sleep... ever... the whole time. When we got home she slept for 20 hours straight.

Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures of the camping trip :( I know, we're bad. But we have pictures of the aftermath.
