Kurtz Family Picture

This is my first family portrait of my own family! I set up my "studio", arranged my camera on the tripod, arranged my subjects, set the focus and timer and voila!~I'll never have to have someone else push the button again!

Stake Carnival

Here are some pictures of the kids having fun at our stake carnival. They loved the horse rides but all I wanted was to jump on one of the horses and smack it hard on the booty and ride off into the sunset!! Dallin got to ride one of Steve Youngs arabian show horses he was the first and I think the last to ride her because she was spooked by all the people and noise, so we were unable to get a picture of him, I was busy walking beside his horse incase I needed to grab him off real fast. We had a good time, lots of people but the kids had a blast on the blow up slides so I guess it was worth it, even if I didnt get to live my fantasy of riding off into the sunset.

Dinosaur Museum

Here are some pictures of the kids at the dinosaur museum. Dallin had several seizures while we were there but we made it through without anyone calling the paramedics so I was grateful. I cant really think of anything else exciting to say about the day because it was a horrible day and I want to cry thinking about it but I think the kids had fun.

I talked to Scotty tonight and it just won't be the same typing the things that he said. Hearing his voice is half the fun. His favorite color is brown. His favorite food is donuts and marshmallows (which, in his case, is the exact same food). When he grows up he wants to fight. Watch out everyone. His favorite thing to do is to flip (I got lots of spit in my face as he did the sound effects of flipping. And he was so cute twirling his arms around to show me how he flips) His favorite thing to do with his mommy is eat. His favorite thing to do with his daddy is eat. His favorite thing to do with everyone else is NOT eat. His favorite thing to do with his brothers is to not hit or punch them and just play with them. His favorite animal is an elephant. (Which is kind of funny because when we go to the zoo he's terrified of them and won't let me put him down when we are near them.) I can't tell you in words how much I love my Scooters. Sometimes when I think of Scott's mom and how she called him "Scotty" it helps me to know how she must feel about him. There is nothing in this world like a SCOTTY- how does anyone survive without one?! He's the light of our life.

Happy Happy Birthday to Katie!! Love, Leah

This is in honor of Katie on her birthday (and also Leah on her 9 month birthday)! These many expressions of Leah are an ode to you, Katie. Leah can't recite poetry yet, but she has her face to show you how you make her feel. You make her smile from ear to ear. She can hardly contain herself! We love you and thank you for coming into this world to give us joy!

WE DID IT!!!

We got married yesterday! It was perfect! Our ministers name was Rev Lionel Rose. He was AWESOME. He was half as tall as Donald and such a sweet heart. The whole thing took only 25 minutes :) And we got lots of good pictures. We actually only got pictures because the resort people liked us so much. Technically they want you to buy their photo packages, and the cheapest one is like 250 bones. So we just brought our camera but we didn't think about the fact that we would only be able to take pictures of each other :( But the wedding planner girl felt bad for us and she gave my camera to the resorts photographer and made him take all our pictures. She was so nice. We had fun and the ceremony was simple and very special. Neither one of us liked having to say "til death do us part" but we will change that someday.

Ya Man

From Jamaica...

Just wanted to tell everyone we are here and we are safe. The flights went smooth, Donald and I slept like big babies the whole time. We couldn't even stay awake for 20 min to fill out our customs cards so we had to be in the way back of the line when we got off the plane. Good thing is about Jamaican Customs is... they don't really even check you "Don' worry 'bout a 'ting, man"Anyway just wanted to check in once and let you all know we are having SO much fun!!! The water is BLUE and we are really getting married tomorrow. :) I'm so excited to be Mrs. Weir! And Donald is so excited to be Mr. Daly! That's how it works right?

Donaldina

Hello all,
I've mostly been posting on my own blog but I thought it would be fun to put a sweet picture on this one too. One day while we were going through the excitement of swimming lessons for 2 weeks Amanda, Jessie, and I decided to venture back to the pool so I had to borrow a hat from Deya for Donald. I tried it on him and laid him down and within seconds he fell sound asleep. He looked sooo sweet. What a doll!

I hope you're all enjoying peaceful rest while we get ready for the big day with Donald and Shannon. Love, Sarah
