You guys have the most beautiful eyes of any family I know!

I think all of my brothers and sisters are so gorgeous and then there's me. I don't know quite how I fit into this family. I love this collection of pictures and I love the one Dad emailed. I could stare at your faces all day. You know, we ought to do one of all the brothers-in-law and sister-in-law! I'm so excited to have a sister-in-law. Donald (the tiny one) is sleeping so I'd better go eat something and maybe rest a little. Love, Sarah

Shannon, that's funny that you say that because I think that your eyes are so gorgeous. Hey, maybe that's why you fit into our family so perfectly. Sarah, you had better just bite your tongue. I don't know how you can wonder for one second how you fit into this family. I wish you could see your beauty in our eyes. You'd be mesmerized. I know that Dan would agree with me. That's how I feel every time I'm pregnant or just had a baby. So, I know where you're coming from. I love you all. Love, JLH

You are all homely. Just be glad I married your mother to inject some beauty into this gene pool.

Thank you Shannon for the compliment, but I have to agree with Jessie, as you and I were talking at the airport I kept trying to figure out what color your eyes are, very beautiful...At the ripe old age of 54+ I'm finally beginning to see how superficial outward beauty really is. I'm afraid I relied way too much on my so called good looks to get me by. Now I'm really trying to work on inner beauty because I'm looking more and more like a wrinkled raisin every day. Every morning Dad asks me to "Quick bear your testimony!" I love you, and think you're all exceptionally beautiful. Your eyes are the mirrors to your good hearts. Love MOM
